Controlling and monitoring remotely Robop is possible using a special version of the product that has the electronics from a Nokia mobile phone built in. This allows the battery to be checked and the bird to be re-programmed remotely. For example the voice can be turned up or down. Although this unit has been developed and tested there are none deployed on customer sites at present due to the cost. However a new version of the phone electronics is available which makes the product much more cost effective. Call us if you have a requirement that needs this facility.
A simple remote control system using a key fob has also been developed for one customer who required the voice to be turned off when meetings were in progress.
Robop can be programmed to be controlled from a WAP enabled mobile phone.
