Robop - how to order your Robop bird deterrent

Robops are individually made to customer order although we do try to keep a small stock for immediate delivery. Each bird contains a large number of parts many of which have to be specially made to Robop specification. The complexity of the manufacturing process and the time involved is one of the reasons why Robop costs what it does. So, when ordering Robop do not wait to the last minute before placing your order, allow plenty of time. Typical lead times are between 2 and 4 weeks from receipt of order, although fully automated systems may take longer depending on how much custom engineering is required.

Because the movement sequence is fully programmable, the customer could specify the movements they want but this rarely happens. In practice we either set the birds to a standard sequence or programme then based on our knowledge of the customers requirement. For example, one of our customers can only get access to his Robop every four weeks when the window cleaning contractor arrives with a cherry picker. So, we programmed a minimal series of movements so that the internal battery would last for at least 4 weeks between charges.

Likewise the volume of the voice can be programmed depending on location to make it, for example, much quieter if being used in a residential area. When ordering therefore you need to advise us about your situation so we can optimise the bird for your particular needs.

Unless by prior agreement, all orders must be paid in full before shipment. Payments are normally done by bank transfer. Customers can order direct from Robop or through a local dealer where available. In either case the price is the same although the local dealer will normally be able to provide additional services at a more attractive price. The dealer may also be able to offer alternative payment schemes.

When ordering make sure to specify the number of mounting bases required as these are sold separately. Customers typically choose between 2 and 6 bases per bird.

All orders are subject to delivery charges. The standard charge for UK next day delivery is £35 per bird. Overseas delivery charges vary according to country with delivery times typically 2 to 3 days.
