Warranty and Maintenance
Jump to Q-Site
One of our dedicated team at work
Robops come with a lifetime warranty which is conditional on two things only. These are (1) that the customer pays for a once yearly overhaul at the factory and (2) that the bird has not been dropped or otherwise damaged by the customer. Damage caused by a bird attack is covered, as are all parts and labour costs. Check with us for current prices.

If the customer chooses not to return the bird for the annual overhaul that's fine but the warranty expires after 12 months from the data of shipment (or last overhaul). Any subsequent repairs are then charged on a time and materials basis.

We also manage customer installations and carry out on- site service work on a contract basis.

A substantial amount of engineering time has been spent on our continuous improvement programme and as a result the product is very robust. However, like any mechanical and electrical product that works outdoors in all weathers, Robops do need to be maintained as parts can wear out or become damaged. It is particularly important to have pneumatic poles maintained especially where they are part of an automated system. Accumulated grime on the pistons can cause the poles to jam or the seals to leak. The environment on top of large buildings particularly near the coast is very harsh indeed and has been known to corrode even the military spec. connectors we use. However, non of this need be a concern as we can provide all the service you will ever need at a highly competitive price.
