What spec of power supply should I use to connect Robop to a mains supply?

You need an AC to DC power supply that runs from 240/110v AC and outputs 12v DC. The maximum current used is 2A so a 12v 2A PS (i.e. 24 watt) output should be fine. Robop itself runs from 6v and consumes approximately 500mA when operating fully i.e. wings, head and sound all working. One thing to watch is the length of wire between the power supply and our regulator (this must be mounted on or near the bird) as the regulator must

see at least 7.5 volts to work properly.
