Bases
The standard mounting bases shown opposite can be fitted to most roof structures. The base is fully adjustable to fit any pitch of roof. These bases are permanently fixed to the building using silicone adhesive or fasteners. We supply a special silicone adhesive which has been tested for endurance and has been used successfully over the past 5 years.
Each base contains a weatherproof nylon bearing This bearing allows Robop to turn through 360 degrees. Since Robop is aerodynamic, when mounted on the bearing it will turn to face into the wind. This is important because a live falcon would always sit facing into the wind and hence this technique enhances the realism of the product.
The birds are mounted on a spigot and secured on the base by an 'R' clip. This arrangement makes it very easy to attach and remove the Robop for charging or moving to another mounting point.
Bases are manufactured from lightweight aluminium and powder coated giving resistance to adverse weather conditions.
